
Clean Energy Symposium 2025: Driving Innovation, Collaboration, and Transformation
In collaboration with the Centre for Hydrogen Innovations at NUS, we hosted the Clean Energy Symposium on 4 September.
Established by the Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education in 2024, the Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) is committed to delivering sustainable solutions for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, enhancing climate resilience, and ensuring food security in collaboration with key stakeholders.

The world stands at a tipping point. As some governments roll back progressive environmental policies, businesses and organisations are stepping up, recognising that sustainability isn’t just about ticking boxes – it’s about survival.
On 15 October, we kicked off our “Sustainable Future: Harmonising Business and Environment” event with a warm welcome from NAIHE PVC & CEO, Prof Abhishek. Attendees were treated to an insightful talk by Dr Charles Lee, (Director, Centre for Sustainable Development) on aligning business with sustainability for a better future.
