Research

Our research focus areas are in the following domains:

Climate Change

We are facing an unprecedented climate crisis! We are experiencing global temperatures rising above the 1.50C tipping point; catastrophic burning fires in Australia and California; hurricanes with increased intensities; and alarming rising sea levels.

Food Security and Sustainability

In Singapore, due to climate change and geopolitical risks, we have set a “30 by 30” goal to be able to produce 30% of our nutritional needs by 2030. This goal is also embedded in the 2030 Singapore Green Plan, and will help build a more resilient food future.

Sustainable Development Goals

Our focused SDGs include: 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), 4 (Quality Education), 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), 13 (Climate Action) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals) to provide innovative solutions to our sustainability challenges.

Sustainability

to help all students access higher education.
