Established by the Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education in 2024, the Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) is committed to delivering sustainable solutions for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, enhancing climate resilience, and ensuring food security in collaboration with key stakeholders.
On 15 October, we kicked off our “Sustainable Future: Harmonising Business and Environment” event with a warm welcome from NAIHE PVC & CEO, Prof Abhishek. Attendees were treated to an insightful talk by Dr Charles Lee, (Director, Centre for Sustainable Development) on aligning business with sustainability for a better future.
On 4 October, the UN Global Compact Network Singapore Apex Awards celebrated the best in sustainability. With Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Manpower, as the Guest-of-Honour, the event highlighted the winners in Sustainable Business, Sustainable Solutions, and LowCarbonSG categories.
